Steve brings together his own team, beginning with Chin Ho Kelly; an ex-Honolulu Police Detective and former protégé of McGarrett's father. Kelly has been assigned to a federal security patrol after being suspected of corruption. Detective Danny "Danno" Williams is a New Jersey cop who recently moved to the island to be close to his 8-year-old daughter. Kono Kalakaua is Kelly's cousin and a rookie officer, fresh from the academy. McGarrett's team is given full backing from the governor.

Summary: A dancer is followed home and raped by a man with a distinctive tattoo and the details of the attack remind Rollins of a serial rapist she was tracking back home. The detectives arrest Gabriel Thomas, a family man who maintains his innocence, but his description and DNA match this assault and the string of rapes across multiple states that Rollins had been investigating.Detective Rollins believes she has picked up a thread on a cold case from back home when she investigates the rape of a dancer by a tattooed man. Although the suspect maintains his innocence, Rollins is sure he is her serial rapist. Detectives Benson and Amaro know the evidence is damning, but deeper investigation may reveal a surprising twist. Although the evidence supports the arrest, the more Detectives Benson and Amaro dig into Thomas' past, the more they begin to believe his story.
Review Episode : A 13-year-old girl won't reveal who got her pregnant, leading police to suspect she was raped. The suspects include the son of a noteworthy political couple (Kyle MacLachlan and Paige Turco), as well as the son of their housekeeper.
